Shimano's SH-M230 Shoes offer a custom fit and World Cup-worthy function in a bold, stylish package. They use Thermo-Form technology that allows each shoe to be customized to your foot for a ride you'll have to feel to believe. To get each shoe just right, we heat mold plastic panels in the uppers and insoles until they perfectly conform to the contours of your feet. Of course, you also get curved, anatomical carbon-reinforced soles for optimum power transfer, comfortable yet durable synthetic-leather uppers, anti-slip heel cups, micro-adjustable buckles, offset hook-and-loop straps and composite toe spikes for outstanding grip in hike-a-bike situations.

Because every body (and foot) is unique, Shimano's fully customizable SH-R310s could well be the ultimate road shoes. Thanks to Shimano's Thermo-Form technology we are able to heat mold the uppers and insoles of these shoes so that conform exactly to the contours of your feet. Your feet will then track perfectly allowing you to pedal more powerfully and reduce the possibility of injury to the knees and other joints. Of course, these top-notch shoes feature carbon midsoles for optimum power transfer, comfortable and durable synthetic-leather uppers, anti-slip heel cups, micro-adjust buckles, offset straps and walking tabs on the heels and toes.

To validate our warranty and prevent sole cracking, SIDI Reinforcement Plate (or similar from crankbrothers and Look) highly recommended for use with dual retention-bar style MTB pedals (crankbrothers, Time and Look). The plate is not required on Drakos or with Shimano-style pedals.

Fits SP Carbon, Vent Carbon, Eleven Carbon/Composite, Millennium 4, Carbon Composite and Carbon Lite soles. The shape of the heel pad dips in back to go around a rivet in the sole. Fits any SIDI shoes, although one or both nubs on heel pad underside may require trimming with clippers.

The Politex material is constructed of several overlapping layers with different physical and mechanical properties. This compacted PVC is then coupled to two fabrics (knitted fabric and felt) that is then film dyed for long-lasting color retention. Politex offers strong resistance to rips, lacerations, stretching and fading. Politex is made in strict compliance with European regulations and is considered a "green” product. The Millennium 4 Carbon Composite Sole is injected molded carbon fiber in a matrix of nylon that creates a significantly lighter and stiffer sole that is less susceptible to changes because of aging or prolonged usage. The Soft Instep 3 Closure System is a wide, anatomically curved strap combined with a soft, thermo-formed EVA pad that distributes pressure evenly over the instep area. The Soft Instep Closure System is adjustable from both sides, to perfectly center the EVA pad over a high or low instep. The system eliminates the need for the High Instep Extender. The Soft Instep Closure System is replaceable. Sidi's Techno-3 System dials in fit along the entire length of the shoe, adapting the upper to the shape of the foot for a customized fit.
