The Pine Mountain is a classic steel hardtail with modern trail capabilities for hardtail purists pushing the limits and seeking adventure. STEEL IS REAL The Pine Mountain 1 uses a butted and formed Series 2 4130 CrMo frame with Boost 141mm dropouts, full fender and rack mounts, and tons of bosses for a wide variety of gear mounting options. BIKEPACKING ABILITIES The Pine Mountain features brazed-in cargo attachment points throughout the front triangle for carrying all of the water and gear one needs for a proper adventure. The new Bedroll Bar features a 50mm rise and a long, straight top bar for cleanly mounting handlebar packs away from cables and controls, and also mounting lights, phones, cycle computers, or whatever else catches your fancy. TRAIL GEOMETRY The Pine Mountain Trail Geometry is a mix of agility for trail riding and all-day comfort for bikepacking. Short chainstays keep a shorter wheelbase for that active ride, while a 66.5-degree head angle makes for confident steering with or without the weight of gear. TUBELESS READY 29" Tubeless-ready 32mm internal dimension rims and 2.6” tires give the Pine Mountain a comfortable ride with huge traction and ability to roll up and over large obstacles, while still being light enough to pedal and fast enough to rip single track.

We made the Team Marin to be lightning-fast, super composed in the rough-and-tumble of spicy singletrack and perfectly in control up, along and down. It packs all the roll-up-your-sleeves tough of a trail bike and the zip you’d expect from an XC racer to perfectly blend speed with fun. Because who said XC had to be so serious?! Champagne dreams on a cola budget. The Team Marin 1 brings XC-racer performance to a privateer price-point, all whilst staying super fun and super capable in the singletrack. We started with a high-end Series 4 aluminum frame and fast-rolling 29” wheels and then added a capable RockShox Judy Silver fork, 12-speed Shimano drivetrain, Shimano hydraulic brakes and Vee Tire rubber to create a super fun, super affordable XC trail shredder.
